Module - Side by Side

Introduction

A side by side module allows you to display both text and image side by side.

 

Add a Side by Side module

1. Click the gear icon in the upper right of the software.

2. In the left navigation panel click Pages in the Layout section. 

    

   

3. Click the desired page (or create a new page if needed). You can now customize this page. 

4. In the left hand panel click the + to add a module. 

5. Choose Side by Side. Side by Side will now be displayed in the left-hand panel.

6. Click on Side by Side, in the left hand panel, to configure the module. 
   
    

    

   
    

   

7. Configure the following:

   • Name: Enter a title for the Side by Side. This is internal and will update the name from Side by Side in the left-hand panel. If you are using multiple Side by Side modules on the same page renaming will help you to understand what each is being used for. 

   • Image: Click the pencil icon to upload the desired image. Supported file types include png, jpg, jpeg, gif, webp, bmp, svg. You can edit the image multiple times by using the pencil icon or delete it and start over using the trash can icon.

   • Text: Enter the desired text. Click on Large Editor to enlarge the text box. You can use all of the standard word processing tools to format the text. 

      

     

8. Image Alignment: Choose where you would like to display the image, right or left.

9. Button: If you wish to include a button enter the text to be included on the button and the color to be used. The button will only display if a Button Destination is chosen.

   • Button Destination: You can choose an Internal group, courses or pages. Alternately choose External and enter in the desired URL. 

   • Button Alignment: Choose the alignment for the button. Right, left or center. 

10. After completing your configuration click the X at the top of the settings to collapse the Side by Side configuration settings.

11. Click Save Page.
